The "Brown Bear" is a heavy-duty cleaver and a practical skinning knife in one. It was the first knife developed by professional Alaskan outfitter and bush pilot, Charles Allen. Years of development under our severe field conditions have produced several unique features found in no other knife. It remains one of the flagship products for Knives of Alaska based on the traditional native Eskimo knife called an ulu (OO-loo).
